I was disappointed with HBO Max's offerings. Although the introductory week is free, the subscription prices are steep, especially with ads in the basic plan. The content selection feels generic, lacking the compelling originals expected from HBO. Plus, the automatic renewal policy is sneaky and frustrating. Not worth it.
